KIRK THE CAT
~ The following is included with kind permission from his owners, as Kirk passed into spirit in 2008. What follows is taken from a Communication undertaken after this time & is therefore dedicated to Kirk ~
There is another cat with Kirk - it is coming through to me fainter than Kirk but I can make out that it is a very slight, slender & small cat with very vivid eyes. It also would have been shyer than Kirk & would have darted around quite a lot in life. From the fleetingness that it's showed itself to me I'd say that its colouration is a mix of browns/greys or tabby/tortoiseshell. I saw this one really faintly a few months ago - came slinking out from under our bed then disappeared into thin air. Wasn't a cat I recognised, and mentioned it to Mark at the time.
Kirk keeps referring to a jumper that seems to be a chunky, soft feel one - did you wrap him up in one or was he fond of a certain jumper? He always loved my red jumper and would sit/sleep on it at any point. I even took it into the vets for him while he was in having treatment. I haven't worn it since he left - it's with all his personal stuff in a special Kirk box.
He certainly would have been a cat that would get your attention if he wanted it! If someone was reading something he would get your attention by getting in the way of it in order to gain affection. Definitely! And he knew that whatever I was doing, I'd stop it instantly to give him whatever he was after.
A microwave is being mentioned so either it's been/is being replaced or it's beeping when it shouldn't be. Ours beeps a lot and annoys us
Kirk's telling me to tell you that his 'coat is full & gleaming again'. His coat did become very dull when he was ready to leave me. It used to be glossy black and shiny.
I feel that you have kept some of Kirk's fur or a whisker. His fur, in a locket and also in his Kirk box.
Kirk is telling me that he 'does visit you often' & he also wants you to know that 'your ears aren't playing tricks on you' either, suggesting you have heard something (I feel it's either a toy he used to play with or his collar's bell). Collar Bell
He also wants you to know that he knows that you've seen him. Yes, it was him by the door. He says that 'If you feel a warmth beside you when you are sitting down, that it's him'. I've felt draughts several times - once when I was sitting on the sofa with my legs out in front of me - felt like he walked under my legs and wound his tail round them - was lovely.
Kirk tells me that your 'times together were very precious & nobody can take those memories away'. I'm seeing someone flicking through photographs & albums with this too, remembering. Every day.
Kirk tells me that his 'body felt tired' near the end of his life & that he 'felt the cold more'. He looked colder, and last night my friend mentioned the last time she saw him, he was sat on the radiator. He never did that. She would pop round a few times a day to check on him while I was at work. I kept him wrapped up and snugly as much as I could. 'A shadow' is also mentioned internally in the body near the end of his life on earth. He had cancer.
When asked "Does he like his tributes" he answers 'Yes'. Kirk says that something has been created - hand made. He's also talking about a special stone & I feel it's got something etched on it. My tattoo and the memorial stone in the garden. It has Kirk, our special little man, endless love' engraved on it.
~ 'Thanks Sarah - the reading was amazing and spot on. It's totally changed the way I've been feeling since Kirk passed over, and it's an amazing feeling to know that he's safe, and happy, and that he valued our time together as much as I did. Since you contacted him, all the grief I was holding onto has gone, and left me feeling at peace with everything. I still mourn him, but in a happy celebratory way (on Kirk's instructions, lol) which has lifted a huge weight from my shoulders.
You're amazing, and I've already recommended to you to friends, and will be back to see if you fancy a chat with my spirit horse next year!'
